Antonio (Tony) Pizzarello, Ph.D.

Dr. Pizzarello began his career as an aeronautical engineer at Nardi S.P.A., Milan, Italy. Then moved to the computer science field with Information System Italia and General Electric then Honeywell Information Systems. He progressed from managing engineering and scientific applications and support of application software and systems to consulting software system designer to Chief Fellow, the highest technical position in the company. After retirement in the 1990's Tony has developed theory, tools and businesses to alleviate the software quality problem. As co-founder of Peritus Corp. he demonstrated the value of code analysis and as co-founder of OntoPilot LLC he has devised a new and more effective method for detecting faults in computer code. Antonio earned his Doctorate in Aeronautical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, and has served as Research Professor of Computer Science at the Arizona State University.
Oris Friesen, Ph.D.
Co-founder, OntoPilot LLC
Dr. Friesen was involved in Information Technology as an engineer and scientist for more than 30 years with General Electric, Honeywell and Groupe Bull. His groundbreaking work in database management systems led to several patents. In parallel, Oris collaborated with Arizona State University to develop constructivist educational software modules and was involved in several eLearning endeavors. He was a Co-Principal Investigator for a National Science Foundation grant and a coordinator representing Mesa Community College for a U.S. Department of Labor grant in software quality assurance and testing. Since retirement he is focusing on projects dealing with software engineering, telecommunications and digital visual literacy. He serves as Vice Chair for the Arizona Telecommunications and Information Council. As co-founder of OntoPilot LLC he is dedicated to precluding faults in the data management aspect of systems and in mentoring entrants in the new field. Oris earned his Ph.D. at Arizona State University.
Byron Davies, Ph.D.

Dr. Davies has invested his life in learning how technology can make individuals and businesses more effective and more productive. With education from Caltech, MIT and Stanford (Ph.D., EE), Byron developed technology and new business practices at Texas Instruments and Motorola. He has helped start-up companies design and implement products for e-commerce, health care, education, and software integrity assurance. He has a longstanding passion for learning about learning and for developing methods and technologies for learning and instruction. Complementary to his work at Ontopilot, Byron is founder and CEO of Black Swan Learning Corp.
Jack Ring, B.A.
Co-founder and Managing Member, OntoPilot LLC
Jack Ring's first two decades in business were with General Electric developing advanced information and planning systems for the intelligence community while establishing the GE-wide workshop in software engineering and learning the principles and practices of professional business management. The next decade was with Honeywell's computer business as an executive serving the commercial, industrial and public sector. Subsequently, Jack revitalized product development in the Edelbrock Corp., led a turn-around of Ascent Logic Corp. and helped establish the Object Technology Practice in the IBM Consulting Group. Since retirement he has mentored several high tech startups and turn-arounds, co-founded Kennen Technologies LLC to commercialize the General Purpose Set Theoretic Processor, and co-founded OntoPilot LLC in to software integrity assessment technology. He earned an A.B., Emporia State University, and is a Fellow, International Council on Systems Engineering.
